The Rockwell International (now Boeing) B-1B Lancer is a four-engine, supersonic, swing wing, jet powered, heavy strategic bomber. Used by the United States Air Force, it is primarily a low-level penetrator. The B-1B has long range capability and travels at high altitude with speed of Mach 1.25, and at low level speed of Mach 0.92. The B-1B celebrated its first flight on December 23, 1974 and became operational in 1986 with USAF Strategic Air Command as a nuclear bomber. In early 1990s B-1B fleet was reassigned to Air Combat Command and aircrafts were converted to use conventional and all-weather guided “smart” munitions. Its first combat mission occurred in 1998 during Operation “Desert Fox” in Iraq. In 1999 it was again deployed to support Operation “Allied Force” in Kosovo. Commonly called the “Bone”, derived from “B-One”, the B-1B holds 61 world records for speed, payload and distance. And while inventory of the B1-B was reduced from 91 aircraft, 67 still remain in service, and are expected to continue service until 2030. B-1B Lancer named “Boss Hawg” Tail# 84-0051 is 10th B-1B produced. This Die-cast metal airplane model comes in 1:221 scale with plastic stand.

It was used extensively during World War II by the Allies, especially on the Pacific Front.
Panchito was assigned to Captain Don Sailer of the 396th Bomb Group in the Central Pacific. He named it after the feisty Mexican rooster from the 1943 animated musical "Three Caballeros". It was restored to vintage flying conditions in 1986. It is available for rides at various airshows across the country and is based out of the Delaware Aviation Museum Foundation in Georgetown, DE.

Produced by Consolidated Aircraft, the PBY Catalina was a flying boat which later became an amphibious aircraft, used by several countries in the 1930's and 1940's. It is a long range aircraft, which did not require a runway to operate, as it was capable of both take-off and landing on the water. The PBY's uses included maritime patrol, bombing, anti-submarine warfare, and search and rescue missions. Remembered for their role in rescuing downed airmen, the PBY saved thousands of lives. Catalina airmen referred to their aircraft as the "Cat" on combat missions and "Dumbo" during air-sea rescue. The name Black Cats refers to a select group of squadrons whose mission it was to strike at night. Painting their aircraft matte black, installing special radar and flame dampers over the exhaust ports, and often using only the lights on their instrument gauges to guide them, these squadrons were virtually undetectable at night.
This Die-cast metal airplane model comes in 1:150 scale with plastic stand and is approximately 5 1/8 inches long with 8 1/4 inch wingspan.
